My Niece Turned One!

So many new things!! This week has been a blast. First off, Brenna Mae Bringhurst (my sweet little niece) turned ONE YEAR OLD! We had so much fun at her birthday party. Sarah (my sister) made it so special and fun with her creative magic touch!

The birthday party had the most delicious foods. Sarah worked so hard preparing them- such an amazing person! There was a main course and plenty of snacks and deserts. Sarah marinated the chicken for 24 hours in teriyaki marinade before having Nate grill them (savory smokey style). There were homemade potato wedges, rolls, fruit shishkabobs (the individual fruits were cut into various shapes- stars, hearts, squares, circles), chips and salsa, and a salad to complete the perfect dinner.

Brenna's birthday treat was a tower of chocolate sprinkle covered cupcakes. There were cute little flower candies that topped them off, which Sarah MADE, creating the perfect little princess tower.

PROPS TO SARAH! Your creativity and willingness to apply it is constant inspiration to us all!

My beautiful sister, Sarah, and her adorable baby, Brenna Mae!

Sarah's in laws, Cindy and Cami. And check out the cute room decor! I love it!

Jakob working on his mobility as always!

He is SO FLEXIBLE! This gives you an idea of just how limber the boy is. He's always in the splits.

Fruit shishkabobs. They tasted every bit as amazing as they look!

These are NOT store bought! Sarah made everything you see, including the candy flower!
